September 2018 saw Norris Academy's Senior Students fly over to Australia to compete in the International tournament. This was Norris Academy's first attempt at the International stage. There was representation from multiple countries throughout the Pacific.
Norris Academy had three seniors entered and walked away with three gold trophies and one silver which was a great result. We took away 1st in women's semi contact kumite, 1st in womens team kumite, 1st in mens kumite and 2nd in womens Ippon.
From here, our team continued to relax and adventure throughout Harvey Bay inclusive of whale watching. We are looking forward to heading back in 2020.
